Jane Rankin graduated from Oxford in 1983. She worked for ten years in top advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB Needham. Responsible for major client advertising development, Jane worked across the financial, leisure, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. A director of leading advertising headhunters Kendall Tarrant from 1993 to 2002, Jane founded a new division and grew it to a team of six people with a peak turnover of £500,000. Jane has enjoyed exposure at the highest level within the marketing and communications industries. From strategic proposals to candidate profiles, her writing experience has been full and varied and she has earned a reputation for accuracy, clarity and precision.

Lolly Walters trained as a bookbinder and used her skills to build a successful, independently-run business. A move into PR consultancy brought six years of work for blue chip clients in the property and travel industries. Lolly has worked for high profile charities such as Comic Relief and the British Red Cross. There she set up and managed a twelve-strong department that was responsible for all UK marketing activity. She went on to become Head of Marketing and Communications at BBC News, providing editorial guidance and managerial leadership to a team of publicists. In 1998 Lolly became
a marketing consultant specialising in the media industry. All her roles have involved an analytical and concise approach to writing, from strategic documents to content for brochures, leaflets and newsletters.
